Carrie Tsang-Hidding, CPA, MBA
Carrie’s resume includes:

- 25+ years of working closely with CEOs as their financial partner focused on growth, performance and building long term values.
- 10 years on senior management teams in operations and internal audit of public companies including Wells Fargo Bank and East West Bank
- 5 years as audit manager at PriceWaterhouse Coopers (PWC) including one year in emerging business focusing on helping businesses prepare for IPO
- 2 years in consulting working with CFOs of large companies in various industries including manufacturing and distributions
Carrie believes in giving back and is active in the community. She serves on several Boards including
- California Society of CPAs-State Board and Officer of Los Angeles Chapter
- Wellnest, a 90-year-old agency for kids and families facing homelessness and mental health challenges
- Los Angeles Rotary Club 5-Advisor on Finance Committee
- Business Federation (BizFed)-Co-Chair of Small Business Committee
- Served as Past Treasurer of LA Chapter of NAWBO
- Served as Past President of LA chapter of the Accounting and Financial Women' Alliance
Carrie earned her MBA in International Business and BA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Puget Sound and University of Washington
Laura Yamanaka
As a founding member of teamCFO, Laura has extensive experience working with small and medium size businesses and their owners who are facing a variety of challenges in the growth of their business. Laura’s considerable operations experience obtained from years in the corporate world at both Fortune 100 companies as well as smaller corporate entities combined with her financial expertise provide her with the ability to deliver financial solutions for businesses. With a focus on strategic thinking, Laura is adept at creating and integrating process and systems. When she works with a new client, she believes that a true partnership emphasis helps to make sure a client’s goals are achieved. A strong supporter of working with clients in small businesses, she is dedicated to increasing the use of financial knowledge through decision making.
Prior to starting teamCFO, Laura worked at major public companies including GE Capital, Quaker State Corporation, Shell Oil Company and the Heritage Insurance Group and served in various financial and operational capacities including Vice President-Controller, Vice President-Finance, Vice President-Operations and Manager of Quality Processes. Laura started her career in public accounting and provided a range of financial and strategic services including audit, mergers & acquisitions, litigation support, IPO and SEC projects and filings while overseeing large portfolios of diverse clients with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young
Laura is a recognized leader in the small business community and is a frequent speaker especially in financial strategies and operations for small businesses She has served as the Chair on the national boards of the National Association of Women Business Owners(NAWBO) and currently serves on the NAWBO Institute for Entrepreneurial Development. Her service has extended to nomination and placement on the SEC Advisory Committee on Small and Emerging Businesses(ACSEC), Center for American Entrepreneurship, National Women’s Business Council and is an on-going contributor to public policy input on the national level.

- 25+ years in public accounting and private industry handling the operational financial needs of large public companies such as GE Capital, Zenith Insurance, Quaker State Corporation and Heritage Insurance Group as well as small to mid-sized privately held companies
- Experience in both operations (customer service, quality control) and financial services with a subsequent understanding of how to effectively balance the two essential business needs
- Skilled at integration of businesses and systems, she is a Six Sigma Quality Program graduate at General Electric who served on the GE M&A team, directly participating in numerous acquisitions
- Frequently cited in various publications and featured in articles in the LA Business Journal and the Los Angeles Times
- Teaches financial leadership classes at the national level focusing on financial literacy for business owners
- Served as Past Chair on the National Board of the National Association of Women Business Owners
